Travis Eby on the Constitution

Not to be snarky, but I’m sure the indigenous peoples would beg to differ [with the view that the U.S. Constitution was a noble and successful instrument for the protection of liberty].  The fact of the matter is that that document was written by and for white people.  It did not honor the property rights of the people already living in this land.  It did not honor the property rights for the slaves.

This government began as an oppressive, violent organization.

The best government is no government.  The documents they produce are illusions hiding the systemic corruption of the state.
