Live Blogging: Radicals for Capitalism: Introduction: Reviving an American Radical Tradition
15 December 2007 — The libertarian movement has a rich history. Thanks to the work of various movement leaders—including Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich A. Hayek, Ayn Rand, Murray Rothbard, and Milton Friedman—this movement that was born out of the classical liberalism of the likes of Locke, Jefferson, and Thoreau continues to thrive today.
On the fifteenth of December, 2007, I began live-blogging my reading of Brian Doherty’s Radicals for Capitalism: A Freewheeling History of the Modern American Libertarian Movement on the blog Last Free Voice. Unfortunately, the blog unexpectedly “closed” before I had the opportunity to upload anything beyond my first entry regarding this book, seen above.
The blog has re-opened.
